Lighting Techniques

What we learned from this video was that it is vitally important to test positioning of the lighting to gain the best effect. These different light positioning could be rim light, which is intended to lighting up the performers face. Also positioning the lights behind the performer blocks out the details of the background wall and allow the lighting to focus on the performer more.
Also the light brightness can have substantial affect on the way the performer is seen, the brighter the light the more light shown on the artist and the less the light the darker they are seen.
It is also vital to move the camera in different places and positions so the lighting is not fixed on one certain place of the performer, and to create different shadows and effects.
